Sorrow

Don’t think you can flee your mistakes

or beat the ghosts inside your head.

For sorrow wants and sorrow takes

and you can’t kill what’s already dead.

But if you find the strength it takes

to leave the covers of your bed,

then you’ll see that the sorrow breaks

and the demons already fled.
