Finish Line

It’s always just one more mountain,

one more obstacle,

one more step on a road to a finish line

that’s not going to come.

.

And I don’t care

if there’s no end,

and if I spend a lifetime in this chasm

looking for a door that doesn’t exist.

.

But please,

don’t let me do it alone.
