Running Out of Time

Why do we spend every moment waiting for

the next to come? Why do we push off every

second knowing that there will be another? Why

do we say, “I’ll see you tomorrow,” so easily when

today is the day to say hello. Today is the

day to make something out of our lives, but

we just keep on going saying that someday we’ll

have more time but we won’t. We’ll just keep saying

it and the years will go by and the moments will

pass and everything we could’ve done will fade

away until we’re almost ready, reaching for the

climax, taking every last second like a dying

breath only to look at tomorrow and realize it’s


“Men talk of killing time…”
