Keep Walking

Tell me what happens

when I walk away.

Are you glad that I’m gone?

Do you wish I could stay?

Am I lost in the rush

of this immortal fray

when my gentle goodnight

starts to go into grey?

When I turn to go on,

do you wish I’d come back?

Am I something that maybe

your long days have lacked,

or do you just look by

through this snow-spattered day?

.

Please say you feel the same thing

when I walk away.
