In a perfect world,

we’d all be rockstars.

We’d live forever.

There would be no war.

Everyone would be equal.

Everyone would listen.

We’d have all that we need.

No more, no less.

In theory, it would work.

We’d be smart enough to handle

a couple bumps in the road.

And we would make it

in a perfect world.

But we’re not all rockstars,

and we’re not all telling the truth.

“A Perfect World”
