Waiting

What’s wrong with waiting?

Excitement is slow,

running through all your veins

with no straight path to go.

What makes it degrading?

The waiting to know

the worth of all that pain:

that’s the star of the show.

So what if it’s raining

or starting to snow?

All the more faster the plane

if the wind starts to blow.

So what’s wrong with waiting?

Why is suspense a foe?

Remember how long the flame

took to make the sun glow.

Now, on with the show!
