The Game is On

(based on BBC’s “Sherlock”)

“Let’s play murder.”

Oh don’t you wish you could, Mr. Holmes?

Don’t you wish it was all some sort of game?

And if it was a game,

what side would you be on?

Would you be the detective, Mr. Holmes?

Oh some would think otherwise.

They think you’d be the killer,

but I think you’d be the victim.

I think you wonder what it’s like

to slowly, slowly fall asleep;

too slowly for comfort,

and be the name that no one remembers

in life’s sick game.

Would you be the detective, Mr. Holmes?

Would you be the winner?

After everything

that

you

have

lost?
